Comfortable stay, but parking can be challenging. Positive: The place appears to be quite new and was clean upon arrival. Check in process was super easy. All the amenities we needed were provided, and the property matched the photos. The location is quite close to restaurants, airport, and Richmond if you have a car. Overall, a good stay. Negative: As other reviewers have noted, this is not a rental of the entire house but rather the entire lower floor, with another tenant living upstairs. While the place itself was comfortable, soundproofing could be improved. We could clearly hear footsteps and movement from the upper floor, and on our last day there was some work being done upstairs that resulted in repeated banging noises. Parking can also be challenging, as there’s almost no street parking in the area. Communication could be more responsive through the app as currently, the host is only reachable by calling.

FALSE ADVERTISING: You are NOT renting the entire house as stated in ad. Negative: FALSE ADVERTISING: You are NOT renting entire house as they claim on their listing. They are renting out the basement apartment. Also, I don't know if the owners live upstairs or if they are renting that out separately, but the people staying above us had children running around and making a lot of noise until about 1 a.m. on our first night.

Great place for a comfortable sleep for 4 adults with a good kitchen and living room Positive: We showed up between 3pm and 4pm and had no problem getting in with the provided code. The suite is a main floor suite, good situation - wasn't in any way "underground" and also had lots of windows. The suite faces the front of the property, entry is via a gate from the street and then you pass in front of your living room window and the actual entry-door is just a few meters around the side. The pictures are accurate although they do not depict the suite above. No problem, the fact that laundry was by request should indicate to people that there is another suite. For our purposes, this place was excellent. In particular we found the beds to be quite large and comfortable. The main bedroom has an en-suite bathroom. Both bathrooms were very clean, with the one in the hall having a bathtub. Our en-suite bathroom actually had a place to sit during the shower which is useful. There are plenty of places to plug in your phones in the bedrooms. The kitchen/dining/living room was quite useful, featuring a large fridge and stove, coffee-maker and Smart-TV. The dining area has a great table for four. There are plenty of great places to sit in this room. Coffee and filters were provided (set the machine to "Prog" for filter coffee and you should have no problems). Great location for transit (Bus 22 Downtown/Marine Skytrain Station and Bus 430 Bridgeport Skytrain Station/Metrotown). Negative: It was hard to plug the sink using the available stopper but we just put a plate over it while washing. Parking was a problem for drop-off but we used transit so had no real problem. The only way to communicate was by phoning the phone number provided for the management company as nothing else worked. We used the booking.com app but that didn't work. We also tried the indicated email address to no avail. We even texted the phone number provided and that didn't work either. By phoning the company we got their attention and complained about the sink, lack of drying-towel and requested a laundry session, which was granted right away. A drying towel showed up while we were out but the sink plug problem went unsolved. Nice-to-haves would have been a salad/spaghetti strainer, a toaster, big spaghetti pot or scissors.

It was okay. Positive: The house is comfortable and clean. Negative: “We were disappointed to find that the rental was not the full house, as the listing photos suggested, but was actually divided into two separate units. It would be helpful if this was clearly stated on Booking.com. Additionally, the check-in time on the website was listed as 3:00 PM, but the actual check-in time for the rental was 4:00 PM, which caused some confusion. There was also no parking available at the property, and our family had to spend time searching for parking nearby.
